Once on the occasion of Shãstriji Mahãrãj’s centenary celebrations, Yogiji Mahãrãj
asked us to gather 250 youths, prepare them and
bring them ready for sevã. He was greatly pleased
when the youths were gathered, all dressed in
the same crisp white attire and eager to do sevã.
The
dynamic of the weekly sabhã grew when Ashvinbhai,
Shantibhai, Sanandbhai, Ratibhai and V.S. joined
the Guruvãr Sabhã. Their strong attachment to
Yogi Bãpã was the bond of the soul (ãtmã) with
God (Paramãtmã). The enthusiasm and readiness
with which they followed Yogiji Mahãrãj’s guidance,
meant that although they were vastly different
in personality and mindset, they worked together
as one.
Pujya Manikaka (Mahant Swãmi’s
father) would attend the sabhã and explain the
Vachanãmrut to us. He was extremely dear to Yogiji
Mahãrãj and having surrendered his life to the
satsang, he naturally and simply conveyed the
essence of the Akshar Purushottam Upãsanã. |
